Missionary Report For Janaury 2012~FROM ME TO YOU...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Just sending you a portion of our Missionary Monthly Report so you can see how things are progressing through the month of January 2012~LOVE YOU ALL

1. Progress
on Projects. Our main project is
facilitating a land exchange between FRI and the state of Washington’s
Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
It is moving slowly, but, it is moving.
We are in the process of setting up meetings with two prospective
sellers, hopefully, in February – where
the private landowner meets with DNR and FRI to discuss the opportunities
available to all. It is understood
that, under the right circumstances, both private parties might be willing to
engage in a sale/exchange. Elder P is
also helping AgriNorthwest resolve some errors found in county land-ownership records,
and likewise is working on some “property tax” issues resulting from bad county
documentation. Elder P prepared and
submitted spreadsheets containing compiled data regarding farm assets, for
immediate use in an appraisal of the local farm. Elder P is also engaged in a full review of all third-party
telecommunication leases on farm sites, along with several other small projects. Elder & Sister P volunteered at the local
Bishops’ Storehouse for the last five months, and have concluded that service
opportunity. Elder and Sister P serve
together as Baptistry Directors for the Columbia River Temple on Fridays, and
substitute on other days, as requested and when available. Sister P has begun serious work on family
history and genealogy work. Elder &
Sister P are taking training classes at the regional genealogical library, and
hope to become knowledgeable enough to assist others.
